Develop Attitude Of Gratitude

It say's it all. Without gratitude you have nothing at all even if you posses a multitude of richies in the world and are the luckiest person alive. Without gratitude you simply wouldn't be able to enjoy any of it.

On the other hand with a strong sense of gratitude you'll become a very strong , powerful, all round happy and content human being. It is the most important human quality to have and together with humility are the prerequisite for all of the rest. Start by writing down 100 things for which you are grateful for in your life. It is the most magnificent exercise that will make you realize in depth a lot about your life. Make it a habit to acknowledge everyday things that made you happy through out ther day and things for which you are grateful in your present circumstances. Make it your focus and they will grow. If you make your focus things that trouble you they will grow too. If that is true and it is then your choice is clear. It all starts with developing a strong sense of attitude of gratitude...

Love

Love is a strange thing. It can be the most amazing feeling in the world , or it can really hurt, but in the end love is something most , if not all of us will face and need. While there are many different ways to define love and there re many different ways to love someone ( even yourself)...

Say it. When you say the words " I love you " they should carry with them the desire to show someone that you love them not what you simply want to feel. When you say it make sure you really mean it and are willing to do anything for that special person....

Empathize. Put yourself in someone else,s shoes. Rather than impose your own expectations or attempt to control them, try to understand how they feel, where they come from and who they are. Realize how they could also love you back just as well....

Love unconditionally. If you cannot love another person without attaching stipulations, then it is not love at all, but deep seated opportunism ( one who makes the most advantage often unmindful of others). If your interest is not in the other person such as, but rather in how that person can enhance your experience of life, then this is not unconditional.If you have no intention of improving that person's life, or allowing that person to be themselves and accepting them as they are, and not who you want them to be, then you are not striving to love them unconditionally...

Expect nothing in return. That does not mean you should allow someone to mistreat or undervalue you. It means that giving love does not guarantee receiving love. Try loving just for the sake of love, realize that someone may have a different way of showing his or her love for you, do not expect to be loved back in exactly the same way. Realize it can be lost, if you realize that you can lose the one you love then you have a greater appreciation of what you have. Think how lucky you are to have someone to love....

Children & Spirit

Do you know that children are portals to the other side? Children are very open to spirit as are animals, they are not frightened by spirit as they don't realize not everyone can see them and they openly talk about them. Usually they are passed family members that your child may never have met, if your child talks of spirit don't ignore them ask about them you will be surprised by what they have to say. I am looking for stories of children's encounters with spirit so if you have one please feel free to share with me as I am hoping to write a book on this. Use the contact form or post a comment on the blog if you wish to share. The following story is of my friends daughter as told him by her at his uncles funeral.

This is what my friend Dennis told me. His uncle Lester passed on last summer he was in his 80's. This is what Abigayl told her dad, as she passed uncle Lester in the coffin she saw his eyes open, Dennis saw them as shut...

Abigayl then said at the grave side she saw uncle Lester jump out of the coffin and he looked about 17. He walked over to her and told her " I am going to be alright" (obviously he knew she could see and hear him). Abigayl said she saw uncle Lester fight with a demon with an English accent ( the pastor had an English accent that uncle Lester in his final months found annoying due to his time in the navy during Wll). Abigayl said uncle Lester kicked this demon into the casket to be buried, and then the place was full of angels and old friends of uncle Lester's and he went up with them...

So there you have it I hope you enjoy this story and there will be more to come till later...
